This is the first caption I ever created. When I first made this, I had been on Rachel's Haven for all of a week and I decided to dip my toes into writing captions. I had seen them for years all over the internet at this time, but they were scattered in so many places. I had contributed stories to Fictionmania but nothing beyond that.
Looking back on this, I'm pleased with what I wrote, but I had no concept of design. I large block of space, some text and a picture was pretty much all I knew (Notice it doesn't even have a double name). At the time I was still exploring the idea of admitting that I had this kink so the Simone that runs this blog wasn't fully developed. Over 250 captions later I feel I've grown. Still, I can appreciate what this caption does do right. I originally wanted to remix this caption before posting it and I still might just for fun. How do you think I've done in the years since making this caption?

Even then you could tell you were destined for greater things, but who could have imagined such deliciously sensual sexiness was just around the corner? Your caps blow my mind and make me go weak at the knees and boy am I glad you started capping all those years ago.
ReplyDeleteI'm not even sure what my first ever cap was, but it probably wasn't very good...
I have to say that this cap certainly doesn't LOOK like your caps now, but you can see the seeds of Mistress Simone in there. An idea not often covered, a twist of fate that you may have seen coming, but twisted in a direction never considered. Tight writing that gets only tighter as you move on.

I have to jump to the personal feelings of everyone in here and say that indeed the seed was growing from there. Sure you didn't have the style you already grown now! but, this shows that there is always a beginning to everything and that no matter how much we improve that same beginning will still be there because well... it's the beginning! "giggle".

I would gladly see a comparison between this old cap and a new following the same image or any other related but with the same text or still following the same story. It would be good to see the weak points over the good ones.
Afterall we matter that our favourites ones grows more and more each day ^-^
And I can't speak for Caitlyn or Evie but my first one was nowhere as good as your first one!
Not only on the aspect but in the text or the story ^-^
Sure you lacked the technique you have now but the story is the most important part. And no matter how pretty a cap can turn out to be. Without an engrossing story it will nothing to remember...
