As it turns out, Jezebel over at Rachel's Haven has been working on some Tips & Tutorials for the basics. If you have ever seen her work, you know she's quite skilled. I approached her about making a tutorial series for caption makers that will serve as a basic tool for beginners and she allowed me to post PDF's of her tutorials. She's even provided tips image examples so it should be simple to follow. I hope to ask a few other people to add to the resource so that it evolves along with captioners.
