I don't often let my wicked, dark side enough out when I'm making captions, but I'm glad I did for this bit. I still held back with the writing and even choices in pictures. Still I wanted to have multiple pictures and there were enough sexy ones to work with. This caption was also the result of three revisions. The first two drafts were horrid visually so I scrapped them. However I did keep one of them to see the evolution of this caption. I'm very happy with the results both visually and story wise.
So who else is fit to be tied?
The "3 picture on the side" caption has become a staple, but I think you were one of the first, and probably in the top three that do it the best.

For me, I'd rather be more graphic in my words than with my pictures.
If someone ever needed to write an evolution of TG/TF captions and stories, I would nominate you to be the head of that committee, Dee.
ReplyDeleteI'm all about balance in my captions. I want a hamonious blend of prose and visual to make something special. In the case of this caption, I had a choice of several sets involving the same model, but this was one of the tammer of those sets. I thought it was more expressive rather than explicit.

ReplyDelete"Yet all I wish is to take your beauty and ruin it with my cock and my whip" whoo and I thought I was dark! I love this line. This is easily one of the best lines I have read in a cap. It so perfectly captures the character in all his sadistic glory. Twisting men, emasculating them only to make them works of art...all so he can destroy something beautiful...to defile his own virgin creation. An especially vicious circle ensuring he will always have to seek new victims to create so that he can destroy them. And the cruelest part, they will be so utterly broken that they won't know whether they really do want it, or whether it's all part of his game to convince them they do. This is something I try to convey in my Smitty caps especially, but it usually takes me fourteen pages or so to do it. You nailed it in a line. Great job.
ReplyDeleteI think you were right to wait on as that text really sets the whole plot brilliantly, the distance travelled in the transformation and ultimately in the begging to take all the Master has to offer which might be about their wants but as you eloquently put it, it's deep down your deepest desire too. It sure is mine!

ReplyDeleteSmitty - You zeroed in on something that became THE theme within this. I love the idea of twisting someone up so much they don't know if they want what's happening or if it's programed into them. You breakdown of it from your point of view gives me a few ideas to run with.
SB - YOUR breakdown has also pushed my mind in a few directions.
