Two Captions - One Image Special

Now here's an interesting scenario; a picture inspires two captions at the same time.  I found this image in my blog feed and it stuck out right away.  It SCREAMED "cap me!" and I had no choice.  Wanting to use the static image, I knew I wanted to add little in terms of boarders and text space.  I decided to make it a quick caption and due to the sci-fi nature of the image, I made it for Sci-Fi Kara.


As soon as I finished it, I had another idea for it that fit perfectly with The Monthly Caption Contest @ Rachel's Haven (To view this and the other captions in the contest, CLICK HERE.  I won't be mad if you vote for me too).  This month's theme was for Haven-inspired products.  I've made one already, so this was my second.  This was the second idea I had for it:

This was made for the Haven's August Caption Contest (vote here for it or look at the other captions in the contest!).  I'm sure it's only a matter of time before these products are on the market.

[Classic Caption] "First-Date Flutters" or "For whom The Doorbell Tolls"

Made for Jillisa @ Rachel's Haven back in 2008.   I think I enjoyed writing this one more than anything else about it because I feel like it's the story that truly takes the stage.  It's a sentimental one with more emotion than most of my caps.  Yet I get a lot of joy writing things like this.

This was done for the wonderful Courtney over at Rachel's Haven.  Her birthday was recent and I wanted to do something to show appreciation for all the great work she does over at the Haven.  Next cake you have, you might want to check the frosting.
